Training course - Assertiveness

How do you get more attention in all kinds of situations? How do you not mince words? Why did you say yes when you wanted to say no? An experienced coach provides practical answers to these and other questions, as well as lots of tips & tricks and plenty of practice moments. The theory is limited to the minimum: this is mainly a learn-by-doing training course.

Maximum usability

Throughout the training course, only cases from the trainees’ own work environment will be practised. This increases the visibility and the immediate usability.

The following topics will definitely be discussed:

  • The basics and what not to do
  • “How ‘assertive’ am I?” An analysis of the trainees
  • Building blocks for assertive behaviour: positive thinking, empathic listening, communicating your own point of view honestly and clearly, etc.
  • Dealing with difficult situations such as complaining customers or exaggerated reactions

Optional: half a refresher day with the trainees in which experiences are exchanged, successes are shared, and concrete work cases are simulated, among other things.

Get your training subsidised

Good to know: the Flemish government has subsidies available for training courses.

Thanks to Paid Educational Leave (PEL), you can recover €21.30 per training hour per employee.

It gets even better! Are you an SME or sole trader? Then you can get up to 40% in financial support for your (language) training courses via the SME portfolio.

Note: only companies established in Flanders are eligible for these subsidies.
